●Manage and support the Head –Corporate Banking / Sr. RM to develop corporate business from existing corporate customers and form new relationships in order to meet Bank’s growth objectives.
•Study the market and customer needs in conjunction with Marketing and Strategic Planning Departments in order to support the Head of Corporate Banking to develop the suitable business strategy.
•Identify target customers both locally within the region in order to establish a basis for potential business.
•Establish and maintain good relationships with key potential corporate clients, and develop these into successful, on-going business relationships.
•Keep abreast of developments in the local business environment to spot business opportunities.
•Negotiate corporate deals (e.g. Project finance) as advised in consultation with the concerned departments on behalf of the Bank, ensuring the Bank’s interests.
•Ensure effective liaison and contact with Branches to identify suitable business opportunities and centrally coordinate the business for corporate customers.
•Monitor development and progress of corporate deals and ensure quick action in case of any adverse development.
•Maintain effective relationships with existing corporate customers to retain their business relationships.
•Establish effective networking (information Channels) with government and semi-government organizations to have an early information on potential business opportunities.
•Prepare reports, analysis, management information data for top management and other departments as required.
Desired Candidate Profile
•Degree in Economics or Finance or Business Management
•7-8 years experience in banking with 4-5 years with exposure to corporate Banking in the UAE. Ideally, the incumbent should have had exposure to the emerging markets.
•Knowledge of Banking and Economic/businesses environment.
•Commercial acumen and ability to prepare plans and strategies are essential.
•Good command of English. The Arabic language will be an added advantage.
